Our school is one of only 4 in Bath to have a Nursery Class. The Nursery is an integral part of the school, sharing the same ethos and vision, as well as staff and resources.

Statutory School Admissions Arrangement Consultation

Proposals to Alter The Admission Arrangements Applying For

St Saviour’s Infant Church School

 

The Consultation:

In accordance with the requirements of the 2014 School Admissions Code, the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust (The Admission Authority) in conjunction with the School Governing Body is proposing to alter the Admission Arrangements applying for St Saviour’s Infant Church School. It is intended that the revised Admission Arrangements will be introduced with effect from 1st September 2020.

The consultation will open at midday on Monday 3rd December 2018 and will close at midday on Thursday 31st January 2019. During this period, you are invited to submit any comments concerning the proposals directly to the School by letter or email:

The proposed alterations include:

  • A revision to the layout of the Admission Arrangements document in the interests of providing more information and additional clarity;
  • Revised oversubscription criteria which aims to simplify the prioritisation of admission applications in the event of oversubscription

What happens next?

Following closure of the consultation, the Admission Authority will meet to consider any comments returned during the consultation period. Within four calendar weeks of the consultation ending, a response will be published on the School website and the consultees will be informed of this. Once agreed in final form the Admission Authority will publish the 2020/21 Admission Arrangements on the School website by 15th March 2019.
